JCA Celebrates Its 54th!

The students of Jubilee Christian Academy commemorated the School’s 54th Foundation Day last February 16, 2021.

This year, the Junior High School Students, together with the JCA Personnel, gathered online to remember its humble beginnings in San Miguel, Manila to its two campuses in E. Rodriguez and Dona Hemady, Quezon City. The online celebration brought down screen barriers, showing the Jubilean spirit and their appreciation of the school wherever they were.

The program was a fitting time to honor the people both in the forefront and behind the scenes, working joyfully to fulfill the mission and vision that the Lord has set forth for the school. The students and personnel also witnessed the awarding ceremonies of JCA personnel, parents, and alumni for their unwavering service and dedication to the JCA community. 

One of the program highlights was the presentation of the JCA Honorary Board Membership awards to Mr. Chan Kok Bin, Chairman of the Academy Board of Trustees, and Mr. Patrocinio Bayot, Vice-Chairman of the Academy Board of Trustees, who have been significant individuals in establishing the strong foundation of the JCA we know today. Mr. Chan delivered an inspiring testimony sharing how he has seen the Lord’s faithfulness unfold in the 54 years of the school through the monumental growth he has personally witnessed. He challenged everyone to continue learning and to never waiver in serving the Lord. 

Albeit things were different this time, the students and personnel showed their enthusiasm and support by dancing together to the tune “Wag Matakot Sumayaw” led by Mr. Jason Are, Elementary Social Studies Teacher.

The online 54th Thanksgiving Service did not only celebrate JCA’s 54th founding anniversary, but it was a testament of God’s endless provision and faithfulness to the whole JCA community and being reminded that we are ‘Saved to Serve with Love and Excellence for the Great Commission’.
