Welcome to Treasury, Accounting and Finance

The Treasury, Accounting and Finance (TAF) department is responsible for the financial well-being of the school. It is mandated to budget financial resources, collect school fees and other revenues, process payments, and generate financial data for reportorial purposes to management and government regulatory agencies.

TAF provides various financial services to students such as:

1. Generate Statements of Account: TAF generates statements of account for students, detailing their financial transactions, including tuition fees, book charges, certification fees, and any other applicable fees.
2. Answer Queries on School Fees: TAF addresses inquiries from current students regarding their school fees, providing clarification on charges, payment deadlines, payment methods, and other related matters.
3. Make Necessary Adjustments on Students’ Assessment: TAF is responsible for making adjustments to students’ assessments as needed, such as correcting billing errors, updating financial aid information, or making changes to fee calculations.
4. Receive Payment for Various Fees: TAF accepts payments from students for various fees, including tuition fees, payment for learning materials, certification fees, and any other fees required by JCA.
5. Process Approved Scholarships: TAF processes scholarships that have been approved for eligible students, ensuring that the scholarship funds are applied correctly to the students’ accounts and reflected in their financial records.
6. Process Refunds for Overpayments: In cases where students have made overpayments on their school fees, TAF processes refunds to return the excess funds to the students or their designated recipients.

TAF plays a critical role in managing the financial aspects of students’ accounts, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial transactions and record-keeping within JCA.
