JCA-SHS Business Expo 2019

The Grade 11 held a JCA – SHS Business Expo on November 25, 27 and 28, 2019 during recess and lunch time. It was a culmination of business innovation ideas of Grade 11 students in their Entrepreneurship with Biblical Perspective class. Each business booth showcased their skills in developing a brand, creating a product, building a marketing strategy, and pre-selling and selling  for customers during the Business Expo. A part of the proceeds were donated to our community care partner, Quezon City High School for their Values Education Month program.

The expo kicked off with a business proposal presentation held last November 20, 2019 in the open court. Each group presented a marketing pitch and sample of their products for their booths. Mr. Marlon Bugayong, JHS and SHS Student Activities Coordinator and  Mr. Rocky Laurel, Faculty of Enderun Colleges were the esteemed panel of judges who gave their comments and suggestions fopr improvement to each group. The second part of the program was a Sustainability Talk conducted by Mr. Macky Maceda, Director of Sustainability of Enderun Colleges.

After the successful and well-received expo last November 25, 27 and 28, 2019, a culminating program was held in the J.E. Chapel last November 29, 2019. The program was dedicated to recognising exceptional student efforts in their business endeavours. The following are the awardees:

Most Number of Invited Parents – Grade 11 Peter with 5 Parents

Most Sales –                                   Ambrosia, 11 Peter

People’s Choice –                          Tiritreats, 11 Paul and Candy Crushed, 11 Matthew

Mr. Noel Villena, faculty representative of Quezon City High School, received the donation from the proceeds of the expo.

Mrs. Nancy R. Ramos, SHS Principal congratulated the Grade 11 students for raising the bar in business for God’s glory. She challenged the students to continue on with their commitment to always raise the stakes to lift the Lord’s name  in all the aspects of the student’s SHS journey.

The JCA-SHS Business Expo was a success because of the commitment of the students to excellence, love and service as exemplified through their booths and the unwavering support and guidance of their  Entrepreneurship with Biblical Perspective teacher, Mrs. Marriane Segui and Mrs. Lenjie P. Nabur, T.L.E. Coordinator. To God be all the glory!
