JHS Welcomes Davao Educators for Benchmarking

Jubilee Christian Academy Junior High School (JHS) and Elementary Department hosted an institutional visit of Christian school educators from the Davao Association of Private Schools and Administrators (DAPRISA) last October 9, 2019. The one-day visit paved the way for JCA to share with fellow educators the journey that the School has experienced to be an accredited local school with international standards and strong emphasis on Christian education.

The DAPRISA delegation was composed of Ms. Laura Veloso of Circular Home Child Development Center, DAPRISA President Ms. Mylene Cruz of Davao Christian Learning Center for Beginners, Inc., Ms. Mary Ann Narciso of Mandug Christian Development and Training Center, Dr. Jo Anne Lomboy of Davao Holy Trinity Academy, Ms. Sharon Su of Shalom Academy of Davao, Inc., Mr. Dave Curada of Heartworks Learning Center, and Ms. Kristel Pal of Davao Central College. They were joined by representatives of C&E Publishing who made the visit possible.

During the visit, JHS servant leaders led by Andrew Brian So, JHS Student Council President, welcomed the guests in a session with Ms. Frances Rea Gaza, JHS Principal, and Mr. Marlon Bugayong, JHS Student Activities Coordinator, where they were given an overview of the school’s student development programs in the curricular, co-curricular, and student activities. They shared about the school’s different programs for academics, character development, spiritual formation, and teachnology. Moreover, they shared the vision of the school, as well, as the future plans of the school as it continues to aim to provide quality education.

They were also given a school tour to see the different facilities of the E. Rodriguez campus. After their morning session, the guests also visited the Doña Hemady campus for an afternoon session of question-and-answer with the Elementary Department headed by Mrs. Lorna Yan, Elementary Principal.

It was a meaningful day spent together by Christian educators seasoned with prayers and inspired by the works of the Lord for His glory.

May the Lord continue to bless the ministry of schools in carrying out the Great Commission through Christian
