Xin nian kuai le!

Chinese New Year is an important celebration in Jubilee Christian Academy as most of its students come from Chinese families.

The Preschool Department had a simple celebration of  the Chinese New Year despite the limitations to gather physically like previous years.

The students and teachers wore red attire or Chinese inspired costume. The Chinese teachers presented interesting videos of the different traditions that Chinese do during Chinese New Year, such as giving of “angpao” and greetings with proper hand gestures.

The students presented varied Chinese delicacies which they showed to their teachers and classmates.
