The Best of Jubilee – SHS

On December 4, 2021, the Senior High School (SHS) Department concluded its first semester. Throughout the semester, the SHS students have proven yet again that limitations of online learning are no hindrance to mastery of various skills as showcased in these best works.

 

1. Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction (DRRR) Info Drive

The Grade 12 students, through the mentorship of their teacher, Ms. Fatima Davila, created an INFORMATION DRIVE ON DRRR (Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction) about Community Emergency Management Plan and Emergency Awareness via Google Sites. The outputs present all the relevant information on the current situation of DRRR in the Philippines and the ideal future track of the country towards increasing the grassroot communities’ resilience to disaster.

2. Malikhaing Pagsulat ng Tula 

In their Pagsulat ng Filipino sa Piling Larangan, taught by Mr. Inocencio Angelito Abunan, the Grade 12 students showcased their creative writing and Filipino language prowess by writing a poem that reflects their love for their parents, love for their country, and their lives during the pandemic.

3. Filipino Dubbing

In the same subject in Grade 11 Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik sa Kulturang Pilipino, the students showcased their Filipino language skills through a recorded dubbing of a video clip.

4. Short Film

The Grade 12 Media and Information students of Mrs. Roncel Alvarez created a short film, a multimedia that combines text, visual, audio and motion media to create an interesting and compelling way of informing, educating, entertaining, and inspiring the audience. Short films, that mostly deal with contemporary topics and societal issues, are accessible through digital copies.
