A DAY WITH JCA CHAMPIONS!

With the theme of Champions for God’s Glory, Jubilee Christian Academy (JCA) held its annual Champion’s Camp last Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the JCA E. Rodriguez Campus grounds.

The Champions’ Camp is an event meant to prepare the Academic Trainees and Varsity Team Players of the Elementary, Junior, and Senior High School Departments before, during, and after their participation in different local or international inter-school competitions.

This year’s Champions’ Camp featured different experts who helped JCA champions in different aspects. Dr. James L. Angtuaco, Head of St. Luke’s Medical Center’s OPD Section for Pediatric Cardiology, talked about the importance of having a good physical condition when going to competitions. Mr. Martin Lloyd U. Antonio, ABS-CBN Sports and Action Analyst, was also present in the event to share his insights about the value of having a good emotional and mental preparation.

Lastly, Ptr. Edwin O. Lim, JCA’s Character Formation Coordinator, shared graciously his experiences and ideas on the significance of spiritual preparedness of every trainees and players as they join competitions.

Indeed, the program helped JCA student-  athletes and academic trainees to value their physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual preparedness as they represent the School in various competitions for the glory of God.
